While walking around this magnificent school, our medium had this overwhelming feeling that we were being followed… the energy she picked up was that of a man in authority was this the late owner George Herbert Strutt, or the Headmaster a Mr W Tunnicliffe?
With many ghost stories, this is the ideal location for a paranormal investigation.
After speaking to the staff, we believe it might well be George, staff too have had this feeling, they have also reported that they often hear doors slamming in corridors, one after the other. when no one else is in the building, cold spots have been felt making the hairs on your arms stand up! And not forgetting the disembodied voices that have been heard
