His discography includes numerous critically acclaimed recordings, including Backwards Glance (2009), which interweaves works of Brahms and Richard Beaudoin.His collaborative project The Bolcom Project, created with violinist Philip Ficsor, resulted in a two-CD Albany Records release and a national concert tour. The recording was praised by Fanfare as “indispensable to any serious collector with an interest in later 20th-century duo repertoire for violin and piano.”Finehouse has been closely associated with the music of Pulitzer Prize–winning composer William Bolcom, including commissioning and premiering Bolcom’s Horn Trio and recording major works for Naxos.
