- **Event Description**: See music through new eyes at the 2025-2026 A New Lens concert series!February’s concert features two exciting and emotional works for piano, violin, viola, and cello. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor (written 1785) will pull you in right away with its unison opening, soothe your soul with its second movement, and hold your hand and skip with you through the last movement.Afterwards, we’ll head to the Piano Quartet in G minor (written 1861) by Johannes Brahms, a piece full of soaring melodies, mysterious harmonies, and conflicting emotions. The Brahms quartet concludes with a finale so energetic and toe-tapping, you’ll be humming it all the way home!A New Lens concerts are free to attend, and all are welcome. A $20 suggested donation supports the series and performers.PerformersKarl Orvik, violin Sachin Shukla, viola Kay Jang, cello Svetlana Krasnova, pianoLocation & Parking This concert will be held in the Tracy Powers Concert Hall, up the stairs under the large purple awning, at 160 Lexington Street, Belmont, MA 02478 at 7:00. Parking is available in front of the building, with overflow parking available in the lot on the corner of Lexington and Beech Street.We are also walking distance from Waverly Square, which is serviced by the Commuter Rail and 73 bus. Bike racks are available in front of the building for riders.Accessibility InformationPowers currently requires guests to go up a short flight of stairs to the main floor of the school. We are committed to improving access to our building for those with limited mobility. The school is in the early stages of this large and important project, but there is no formal timeline set for when it will be started/completed as of yet.Questions about ticketing, venue accessibility, donations, or anything else?
