Black Squirrel Trail Half Marathon

The Black Squirrel Trail Half Marathon takes place on the wonderful trails of Lory State Park to the northwest of Fort Collins, CO.

The race offers a tour of the outer boundaries of the Park and provides breathtaking views of Horsetooth Reservoir. The opening climb ascends a little under 4 miles and 1,500 feet to the apex of the course at 7,000 feet on Lory’s west ridge. A rapid and technical descent follows, leaving 5 miles of beautiful, gently rolling hard-pack singletrack into the finish.

Bring your family and friends for the post-race festivities, featuring a BBQ, awards and FREE one-mile kids run.
