- **Event Description**: THE FINAL LAP | BELLVILLE VELODROME

On 13 November 2026, we celebrate the end of an incredible chapter in South African track cycling.

The Bellville Velodrome has been part of the cycling community since its opening in 1992. Chris Willemse organised the first international track cycling event held here — and now, more than three decades later, he is organising the final international track cycling event at this iconic venue.

International teams will line up alongside some of South Africa’s track cyclists for one unforgettable night of racing.

If you’ve never experienced track cycling live, this is your chance.

No brakes.
High speeds.
Steep banking.
Close racing.
And one legendary track.

This is more than just another cycling event. It is a chance to experience the Bellville Velodrome one last time and be part of its cycling history.
