- **Event Description**: There's something very special about marking the change of the seasons, especially when you're able to do that in a place in nature.  Celebrate the summer solstice with at least 15 minutes of walking meditation followed by an hour-long sound bath with crystal bowls, gongs, and more!

The sound bath will include crystal singing bowls, ocean drums, chimes, and an extended gong segment in which she'll likely play her Chiron gong which is great for grounding and working on the lower chakras. Then she'll play her Planetary Moon and Earth Gongs which have an etheric quality that will help you relax and let go. 

Multiple mallets will be used to bring out the full spectrum of beneficial vibrations and frequencies.

The other special thing about an outdoor sound bath is that the random sounds you may hear, from birds singing to people laughing and playing tennis will merge with the sound healing instruments to create an opportunity to release control and surrender to your true nature. Just as a body massage works out tight and knotted muscles, the "sonic massage" of a Gong meditation works out emotional issues that we need to release in order to move forward in life. The listener only has to let go and let the sound of the Gongs do the work. 

No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or sound energy is needed, the movement and sound will simply meet you where you are and take you wherever you need to go. Kids over 6 are welcome.

Cost: $30, registration is handled by the city. Currently this event is capped at 20 participants, but if the weather is looking good a week before the event, 10-15 more spots will be opened up. 

In case of bad weather: If the weather is too bad to have this event outside, the event will be held in the Fairhaven Park Pavillion.

What to bring: The sound immersion is usually experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position, though for some, a chair might be more comfortable. This area can get shady and cool, so please bring whatever you need to be comfortable and warm, such as a camping chair, cozy padding (yoga/Pilates/camping mat) to lay on, a pillow, blanket &/or sleeping bag, and eye covering.
