The Selfish Skua’s Supper is a children’s picture book that tells the story of a scavenger seabird in Antarctica. It takes its supper from every animal it encounters one summer night at McMurdo Station. Real animals and places are highlighted in the illustrations!


Victoria Salisbury is a retired elementary teacher from the Pacific Northwest. She spent 5 months working in Antarctica where she met a skua who inspired this story.
