Special Show - an Evening with Russell Thompson

Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Russell Thompson plays folk, featuring Join us for a great evening of music in our Taproom. According to Russell, "Here is the corrected text, adjusting for capitalization and fixing the minor typo ("LACKEDTHE"):

"I grew up in a house where the record player was on a lot more than the TV was, and heard a lot of different music, because my dad loved all kinds. I was always drawn to songwriters from an early age, beginning with Hank Williams. When I decided to be a songwriter myself, I learned very quickly that if I "tried" to write a song, it lacked the heart and authenticity that I wanted to express. So now I wait for them to come, call it the spirit, or the muse, and that is how it works best for me."
