- **Event Description**: This class is lead by the amazing Shelby. She went to school and earned a B.A. in Theatre Costume Design; and later went on to get her Patternmaking certification from a tailoring school.  She has worked for Teatro Zinzanni of San Francisco, Walt Disney World Costume & Wardrobe, Topsy Turvy Design custom millinery (steampunk originator when that was THE thing), Dark Garden Corsetry, Period Corsets, and a bunch of other side hustle contract work doing belly dance, burlesque & clown costuming.  

In this class you will learn to construct a pattern specific to your size and then assemble and sew the garment.  You will walk away from class with a new mermaid skirt that fits you like a glove!

**PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED- CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED**

If you plan to bring your own material- make sure to bring at least 5 yards of lycra or spandex blend. 

You can choose for Shelby to purchase the fabric for you when you register ($40 additional fee).      

Sewing machines will be provided, but if you already have one feel free to bring your own.

The 3 hour long class is $60 if you bring your own fabric or $100 ($40 additional for 5 yards of fabric) if you need fabric included.

If you need material purchased for you there is an option during check out that asks your fabric color preference.  Shelby will do her best to accommodate request.  Please list more than one color option.
