Whether you're a seasoned pro or this is your very first time birding, this is a safe space to be yourself, have fun, and get curious about birds with other nature-loving queer folks! Walks are always facilitated by queer naturalist and birder Kate Brown, who has over a decade of experience running birding and nature connection programs for folks of all ages. Bring your coffee, a donut, and anything you need to stay comfortable for the duration of our time outside. This area can be WINDY, so bringing along a sweater or windbreaker is recomended!Where to Find Us: We will be meeting at a picnic table just past the playground. Once you drive down the hill (Bayview Ave) into the park, drive past both Wood's coffee AND the playground on your left hand side, and find us in the shade under the trees in the lawn. The Queer Birders Club typically meets from 10-11:30am on the last Sunday of every month (with some exceptions for availability and holidays)
