RAJ IS COMING BACK!
Special guest instructor Raj is joining us December 7th to share his expertise in musicality! We'll practice hearing patterns in the music and interpreting it in your dancing!
We'll start early to take full advantage of the time we have. The workshop will run from 5:30-7, followed by open dancing from 7-8. Can't wait to see you there!!
Raj More is an internationally traveled DJ, and is engaged providing music to many high profile Latin Dance Congresses, Festivals, and events. He calls Seattle home, having moved from Baltimore, and is just integrating into the fantastic Seattle dance scene.
He DJs at events with Salsa, Bachata, ChaCha and Merengue, and is pursuing his new found love for Kizomba and Zouk.
The full credit goes to his amazing teachers of dance and music. Raj is a proponent of continuous evolution and he believes he is always learning and improving, taking classes for dance, music and DJing. His love for music and dance shows in his selection of music - it has to be utterly danceable, delivering a high quality experience, and must amplify what people enjoy.
He also was one of the organizers of the Baltimore Congress (now WDF), and with the benefit of an incredible group of friends working as a team, turned it into a very successful event that delivers a complete musical and dance immersion over four days. This dancer-first event delivered 100+ hours of classes, 80+ hours of social dancing, with learning from bootcamp level beginners to the most advanced of dancers.
He has DJ'ed at several major events, including Baltimore Congress, LA Salsa Festival, New York Goya International Salsa Congress, Bachata French Kiss (France), Jimmy Anton's social, NJ Bachata Kizomba, Philadelphia SalsaFest, DCBX, For The Love Of Bachata (Pittsburgh), and many more.
In an alternate, top secret life.... uhh none of your business
