Capital expenditure spending for AI now contributes more to growth in the U.S. economy than all of consumer spending combined. How ought man to live in this age of intelligent machines? How did we arrive at our situation of omnipresent screens and billions spent on AI? Are other paths possible?

George Dyson, Donald Antenen, and Simon Graves will discuss these questions, as well as Dyson's book, in a riveting exploration of our future with technology.


George Dyson is a historian of technology and builder of kayaks. His many books include Analogia and Turing's Cathedral.


Donald Antenen is the founder of the Fairhaven Program, where he teaches Homeric Greek to local teenagers.

Simon Graves is the owner of Northerly Customs. He created Telehamster, Bellingham's beloved landline phone network.

Casey Connor's past lives include activist, traveler, and musician. He is the co-creator of Telehamster.
