- **Event Description**: Take a hike with the Queer Mountaineers at Mercer Slough Periphery Trail HikeAbout this EventJoin us for a jaunt along the boardwalks of the Mercer Slough. We'll meet at the south end of the South Bellevue Park and Ride at 9 am and then plan to hit the trail at 9:15 am for a 3.5 mile flat hike around the Mercer Slough park. We'll walk by a blueberry farm (although there's nothing to pick during the winter), along the creek, and through the woods before looping back along the Lake-to-Lake trail and a short section of the I-90 trail.The South Bellevue Park and Ride has ample parking and is accessible by the light rail 2 line, as well as the 550 bus from Seattle.This will be a 3.5 mile hike with under 100 feet of elevation gain.
