As always, the tournament will consist of two separate brackets: Competitive and Recreational.
The Rec tournament is completely free to enter and often includes a combination of adults, young adults, and children who are just looking to play the game for fun. The winner will receive the prestigious honor of taking home the toilet seat trophy.
The Competitive tournament requires a $20 buy-in. This includes 2 wristbands and a $5 bet in the Choose Your Champion competition (explained later), as well as $5 toward event overhead. The winner will take home prize money and will earn the right to display the Competitive tournament plaque in their home for the year.
We will also bring back the potluck competition, so even if you choose to not participate in ping pong (lame), please bring a dish for a chance to take home some prize money of your own!
In addition to ping pong, attendees often enjoy table games, bags, cards, and of course, beer pong to end the evening. Kids are more than welcome to attend, and we will have some child-specific activities available as well.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Spread the word! The more the merrier, and we always welcome new challengers. Invite your friends and family to join us.
Please note: There is some overhead associated with this event. There will be a donation box available at the check-in table for anyone who is feeling generous enough to contribute to the cost of the venue.
We are also accepting Table Sponsorships – if you’d like the right to name a table and have your sponsorship displayed at the event center, please let me know! ($50 minimum donation required to sponsor a table - 5 sponsorships needed).
