7th Annual River Ridge Challenge!

Get ready for the 7th Annual River Ridge Challenge—our favorite kind of event: a little tough, a lot of fun, and fueled by community.

This legendary 5-Kish, non-qualifying, totally un-timed run/walk takes you through the "hills" of Bellevue (yes, that hill) before bringing you right back where you belong—at River Ridge Brewing, for well-earned post-race beers. Train your legs for the climb and your arms for those victory beer curls. You’re going to need both.

Even better? A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Friends of Bellevue State Park, supporting the incredible work they do to improve and care for our local park we all love.

Come for the challenge. Stay for the beer. And celebrate another great day along the Mighty Mississippi with friends, fresh air, and great brews.

📍 Start/Finish: River Ridge Brewing
303 S Riverview St, Bellevue, IA
⏰ Time: Race begins at 9:00 AM

The Classic Route (1.78 miles)
Walk or run from the brewery to Felderman Park.
Make a loop, enjoy a complimentary brew, snap a selfie, and take in the nature views.
Head back to the brewery, cross the unofficial finish line, and celebrate with another cold one!

The FULL River Ridge Challenge (3.19 miles)
After Felderman Park, cross the bridge into Bellevue State Park.
Face the Quarry Trail! Climb up, touch the "YOU MADE IT" sign, and conquer Bellevue’s biggest hill. Make your way back to the brewery, where a medal and an ice-cold beer await you. You earned it. Then stick around for food, live music by local favorite Pat Kettmann | 12-3pm and post-race brews on the patio!

Registration details:
$35 ticket includes t-shirt, medal and a free beer coupon (and free beer during the race in the park!)
*Online regisration closes Monday, March 31st
*A portion of the proceeds goes to Friends of Bellevue State Park
*Day of registration is $45 CASH (no guaranteed medal or t-shirt)

Packet pick-up:
Friday, April 24 | 12-7pm (highly encouraged!)
