Lima Symphony Orchestra: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons

Violinist Geneva Lewis takes center stage in a program of vivid musical storytelling.

The evening opens with Nokuthula Ngwenyama’s Primal Message, a composition that reflects humanity’s attempt to communicate with extraterrestrial life. Next, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons – among the classical canon’s most beloved and well-known violin concertos – brings to life the brilliance of the ever-changing rhythms of nature. Together, they build a musical journey, concluding with Mozart’s 40th Symphony, a passion-filled piece of unparalleled beauty.
