The tenth annual Stepping Forward for Dementia walk will be held on Thursday, August 20. We know that Alzheimer’s takes so much away from those who are affected. The Stepping Forward for Dementia Walk is how we honor those with the disease and those we have lost, fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, care about our communities and remember for those who cannot.Show your support by attending the walk. All proceeds will go towards memory care funding on our campus. We encourage attendees to walk in memory or honor of a loved one with memory loss.T-SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED FOR ORDERS PLACED AFTER JULY 20.The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine offers a Special Care Residence, especially designed to provide a higher level of care as Alzheimer’s or other dementias progress. Kingsway Senior Living offers studio apartments in a safe and comforting environment where those with dementia can stay engaged with life. Our staff are provided with ongoing training opportunities throughout the year to meet the special needs and cares of individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
