- **Event Description**: Come in from the Freezing Cold into the Bellaire Conservation Clubs indoor heated Shooting Range for your Concealed Pistol License Safety Class Certification. Class Date: Saturday February 7, 2026 Location:  Bellaire Conservation Club  4820 Stover Rd, Bellaire, MI 49615  Time: 9:00 AM until 6:30 PM  Not including range qualification time.   Course objective is:  Get your Concealed Pistol License Safely Certification, upon successful completion of this course, that totally complies with section 5J of 1927 PA 372. Of the Michigan Firearms Act   Do you need your own pistol? You don’t need to own a pistol to take this course if (you buy your own ammunition), I have revolvers and semi automatic pistols chambered in “22 long rifle” available for “No Additional Charge” for all students to use in class, with proper notification.   This course is designed to educate individuals on the laws and regulations surrounding the carrying of concealed firearms in the state of Michigan.  This class covers essential topics such as states Reciprocity. Introduction into defense shooting.  Firearms safety.  Situational awareness and Avoidance strategies.  Common methods of concealment. Proper handling and storage. The specific laws and requirements for Michigan residents to obtaining their CPL permit, as a bonus you will receive a year’s membership in the Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners and the benefits that go long with being a member of this organization.   This course is a state mandated 8 hours class room time which doesn’t include the range time involved for shooting qualification.  Bring water, lunch and coffee.  There is a Refrigerator available.  Class starts at 9:00 AM ending about 6:30 PM or until the last shooter has completed his/her shooting qualifications.   You must preregister to secure a seat. To register I need your Phone number, a copy of your drivers license and email address, if you have any changes on the back of your license I’ll need a copy of both sides. If you would like a reference please contact the Antrim County Sheriff Departments, the Bellaire Chief of Police or the Mancelona Chief of Police.  They all know about me and my CPL classes   Class cost is 100.00 Plus a 25.00 deposit for class/range rental and administrative fees. total of 125.00
