Author Event Fleda Brown

Fleda's family has owned a cottage on Intermediate Lake for over 100 years. The cottage is still in its original condition, except for the addition of running water and a bathroom. She learned to walk at the lake and has been coming here her whole life. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Traverse City to be close to the lake. Her Uncle Richmond, now 100 years old, was founder of the Intermediate Lake Association.

She will read work, from “Mortality, With Friends” and from her new chapbook, “Doctor of the World”.
