About the Artists

Wynn Varble

Wynn Varble’s love for country music started early, and after years of performing, he moved to Nashville. His first radio single was “Fit To Be Tied Down” by Sammy Kershaw. Wynn went on to write three No. 1 hits: “Have You Forgotten” by Darryl Worley, “Waitin’ On A Woman” by Brad Paisley, and “I’m A Little More Country Than That” by Easton Corbin, all nominated for Song of the Year by the CMA or ACM. He has also written for Garth Brooks, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, and others. In 2009, he was honored as the Nashville Songwriters Association’s Songwriter of the Year. Today, Wynn continues to write and tour extensively, signed with BMG Music Publishing.

Brandon Kinney

Songwriter Brandon Kinney brings a creative edge to country music that’s all his own. He’s not one to overthink it—he writes what hits, whether clever, raw, or just plain fun. Raised in Lubbock, Texas, Kinney grew up with country music by his crib, shaped by legends like Roger Miller, John Anderson, Don Williams, George Strait, and Waylon Jennings. His knack for blending humor, heart, and blue-collar storytelling has led to cuts with country’s biggest names, including Jason Aldean (“Drowns The Whiskey”), Jon Pardi (“Ain’t Always The Cowboy”), Cole Swindell (“Love You Too Late”), Luke Combs (“The Other Guy”), Luke Bryan (“Beer In The Headlights”), Justin Moore (“Off The Beaten Path”), Chris Janson (“Bye Mom”), and Craig Campbell (“Outta My Head”). Randy Houser’s “Boots On” was named BMI’s 2nd Most Played Song of 2009. Most recently, Kinney co-wrote Jon Pardi’s “He Went To Work” and Braxton Keith’s “Baby You Do,” adding new chapters to a career rooted in authenticity and style.

Matt Warren

Nashville native Matt Warren signed his first publishing deal in Muscle Shoals in 2002. His first cut, “Puttin’ Memories Away,” co-written with Gary Allan, was featured in Rolling Stone and on The Oprah Winfrey Show. In 2009, he won an ASCAP award for the top 10 hit “Learning How to Bend,” followed by another ASCAP award for the No. 1 smash “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain),” nominated for 2014 ACM Song of the Year. Warren’s songs have been recorded by Gary Allan, Darius Rucker, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Bucky Covington, and Jim Lauderdale. As an artist, Warren released a solo album in 2013 and a record with his band Goodfoot in 2023, with new solo material on the way under a worldwide publishing deal with Lady Luck and Yellow Mountain Music.
