Mark your calendars for August 3, 2025, and get ready for the thrilling first annual Battle of the Paddles in Placencia. This exciting event is perfect for all paddlers, featuring different courses based on your watercraft of choice:

- Race Start: 9 AM from the Pointe Beach and Placencia Municipal Pier
- Canoes & Sea Kayaks: 20-mile race following the coastline up the lagoon and back
- Sit-on-top Kayaks: 3.5-mile course around Placencia Caye (two loops)
- Paddleboards: 1.7-mile loop around Placencia Caye
- Race Fees: $50 per paddler
