80th Queen of the Bay Pageant
The Queen of the Bay Pageant is Belize’s oldest national pageant, founded in 1946 as part of the country’s September Celebrations. It honors Belizean women who embody grace, intelligence, and cultural pride.
More than a beauty contest, it focuses on patriotism, poise, eloquence, and service. Delegates from across Belize compete in talent, interviews, and the traditional curtsy, showcasing the nation’s rich heritage.
Our reigning Queen of the Bay, Deann Laing of Rural Belize, was crowned in 2024 and continues to represent the jewel with pride and dignity.
