Thy Catafalque, progresivni metal projekat pod vođstvom Tamaša Kataija, održaće koncert u Beogradu 22. novembra u Zappa Barka.

Prvobitno zamišljen kao blek metal projekat krajem 1990-ih, Thy Catafalque se vremenom razvio u jedan od najoriginalnijih glasova na savremenoj eksperimentalnoj sceni. Crpeći inspiraciju iz Kataijevih kulturnih korena, projekat kombinuje mađarske narodne melodije i jezik sa progresivnim aranžmanima i bogatim sintisajzerskim teksturama.

Albumi Thy Catafalque, koji su dobili visoke ocene kritičara — uključujući Rengeteg, Meta, Naiv i Vadak — ističu se po originalnosti, muzičkom obimu i emotivnoj dubini. Thy Catafalque, the progressive metal project led by Tamás Kátai, will perform in Belgrade on 22 November in Zappa Barka.

Originally conceived as a black metal project in the late 1990s, Thy Catafalque has since evolved into one of the most distinctive voices in modern experimental music. Drawing heavily on Kátai’s cultural roots, the project incorporates Hungarian folk melodies and language alongside progressive arrangements and lush synth work.

Thy Catafalque’s critically acclaimed albums — including Rengeteg, Meta, Naiv, and Vadak — have earned praise for their originality, musical scope, and emotional depth. Since the project was originally a solo studio endeavor by Tamás Kátai, live performances are relatively rare and usually feature a full ensemble of guest musicians to bring the multi-layered studio compositions to life, so don’t miss the chance to see it live!
