Midwinter Meeting (2013), their first quartet album, showcased their years of study with singing masters of traditional harmony from Corsica, Bulgaria, Georgia, the Basque Country, and North America. This early project revealed their deep immersion in international vocal styles and their extraordinary skill in blending voices across cultures.Windborne’s viral rise came in 2017 when a spontaneous video of them singing the 1840s protest song The Song of the Lower Classes outside Trump Tower struck a chord worldwide, reaching millions of viewers.
