Dr. Grainne McGill and Professor Tom WoolleyThere is growing interest in health and wellness and an awareness of the impact of indoor air quality on a range of health problems such as allergies, respiratory illnesses and more. Dr. Grainne McGill is a leading researcher in this field having completed a PHD at Queens University Belfast on the subject and has been running the HEMAC (Health effects of Modern Air Tight construction) from her job at the Mackintosh School of Architecture.Tom Woolley has recently published a book called Building Materials, Health and Indoor Air Quality and is a member of the Grenfell Fire Forum group of independent experts supporting the victims of the Grenfell Fire.Tom and Grainne will give an up to the minute account of the latest research and activity on health and safety issues in buildings and what can be done to safeguard the health of building occupants.
