Tessio are a singer-songwriter duo from Derry - Callum Feeney and Jude McCandless.
They play acoustic guitars, sing close harmonies, write, record and produce their own songs. Their main influences range from The Everly Brothers to the La’s.
These guys are creating a buzz in Ireland right now, so much that they are long listed for the NI Music Prize this year for Album Of The Year and for Live Act Of The Year. This is a chance to catch up with Callum & Jude in The American Bar for a special afternoon's music.
Over the last four years Tessio have performed consistently, playing sold out shows across Ireland and England.
Described as having, "seriously sweet-sounding synergy" by Hotpress Magazine, they have supported acts such as Billy Ocean, Hothouse Flowers, Muireann Bradley, John Francis Flynn, The 4 Of Us and played at Other Voices 2024 and 2025.
The duo released their self-titled debut album in December 2024 to much praise and acclaim, receiving consistent national airplay in the UK as well as Ireland across both BBC and RTE Radio.
Jude and Callum are currently working on their second album with the release of their newest single, ‘Handle With Care’.
