Join dark historian Andrew Johnston of Alternative Ulstours for a festive Terror Talk on Krampus, the Alpine 'Christmas Devil', and his fellow malevolent entities from winter folklore.

Andrew will map out the seasonal bogeymen who roam Europe's cold countryside, searching for naughty children to punish. From anthropophagous witches to a zombie horse, this A-to-Z of holiday horrors is truly the stuff of nightmares.

Be it France's sinister scarecrow Hans Trapp or Iceland's hellacious Yule Cat, it's jitters all the way with these awful 'anti-Santas'!

Andrew's illustrated talk will also tackle the controversy surrounding Zwarte Piet, a 'blackface' Sinterklaas sidekick of dubious Dutch origin.

So, come along to the iconic Sunflower Public House, buy a drink, pull up a seat and have yourself a scary little Christmas with Alternative Ulstours!
