- **Event Description**: Exams can feel big, but your child doesn’t have to face them with worry. For 8 years this workshop has helped children sitting AQE/GL and, most recently, SEAG, feel calmer, more focused, and more confident, both in the run-up and on the day of their tests. 

In this 90-minute, fun, hands-on session, your child will learn:

- Diaphragmatic breathing to switch off stress quickly

- Positive affirmations that build confidence

- Relaxing visualisations for test calm

- Mindfulness exercises for focus

- Reframing nerves into helpful energy (excitement!)

A simple plan to keep practising at home
Even if your child isn’t currently worried, these skills are brilliant to have “just in case” nerves crop up before or during the exams.

Practice makes progress: Like any skill, these techniques work best when they’re familiar. Learning early means they’ll feel natural by exam time.

Confidence early on: A calmer mindset from the start supports better study habits and performance.
