The day will be practical, accessible and suitable for participants with different levels of confidence.WHAT THE SESSION WILL COVER• Getting to know the main functions of a DSLR camera• Framing and composing effective shots• Using focus and exposure creatively• Practical approaches to camera movement• Common filmmaking mistakes and how to avoid them• Ideas for using camera skills with young peopleWHO IS IT FOR?This session is suitable for teachers, educators, youth workers and colleagues interested in developing their practical filmmaking skills.WHAT SHOULD I BRING?Participants are encouraged to bring their own DSLR or digital camera where possible.
