Creative Problem Solving for Performance Success- Working together on the things that matter
Sport Northern Ireland have the pleasure of inviting you to our second instalment of learning experiences in March 2019. Day 2’s Pathway Symposium will offer Coaches, Practitioners & Performance leaders within our Pathway the chance to explore real life Performance Problems from their own Sport and under the guidance of Dr Malcolm Fairweather (Head of Performance Solutions at Sport Scotland) & our Team work individually and in teams to begin to come up with relevant problems & impactful solutions to guide your future practice.
Day Two at the Waterfront Belfast will focus on the area of Creative Problem Solving for Performance Success and use your own live examples of video footage from your Sport to challenge your Sports thinking around the real problems that need to be solved to achieve Performance Success for your athletes & Team’s in a highly interactive format.
Do you ever wonder are we focusing our time effectively in the right areas or can we be more impactful?
Do you struggle to regularly challenge the practice of your Performance Support Teams including Coaches, Practitioners and Performance Leaders to ensure they are all working together on the same defined problems?
If so this could be the learning experience for you and your Sport. With a variety of learning interventions being used on the day by Malcolm including Keynote, Workshop and 1:1 Support you will not only come away with new knowledge and ideas but actual practical solutions that you can begin to embed in your practice right away!
There will be some preparatory work (shared after registration) that you must complete before the day to ensure you maximise the learning experience. You will also be required to bring along your laptop and have access to some relevant video footage of your Sport.
