Monthly Mindfulness - Sowing Seeds of Intention
A new year offers us an opportunity to reflect on our joys and sorrows of the previous year. It’s a good time to review what we've learned and how we’ve grown through the inevitable challenges life presents.Often growth is painful—but it brings with it evidence of our strength and resilience. In this workshop we will explore how mindfulness practices can help to support us as we make purposeful intentions for 2019.
Setting intentions directs the mind and gives us purpose. When we lose sight of our purpose, we can become lethargic, unfocused and low in mood. Focusing on our hearts and what’s important to us creates clarity and self-discovery and ultimately a richer life.
Practices will include body scan, sitting meditations, mindful movement and shorter practices for busy lives.
The small group allows for greater exploration and discussion around the benefits of mindfulness. Another important element of this workshop is how to integrate mindfulness into our everyday lives in order to keep our intentions alive.
Every participant will receive a guided meditation recording and practice guidance.
