Key Stage 3: Teacher Insight Visit to Citi Gateway, Belfast (CCEA - Curriculum)
Teacher Insight Visit to Citi Gateway, Belfast
This session is open to teachers in the following subject areas: Careers, Maths, Economics, LLW, Business Studies, Science and Technology. One teacher per subject area is invited to attend.
Citi, the leading global bank, started in Belfast in 2005. They support the Citi global organisation and interact with other Citi employees in over 100 countries. Each year they bring in over 100 new people on their graduate programmes covering functions such as Technology, Operations and Legal. These programmes bring in not just graduates but also non-graduates, people returning to work and school leavers.
Our Teacher Insight Day is a great chance for teachers to get an understanding of the different job functions here in Belfast and also what type of job roles they offer. It will also highlight some of the many career paths available at Citi along with giving details on the various contact points Citi has with school and university students. Furthermore, there will be time for network sessions to allow teachers to meet and chat freely with a number of business reps and managers to clear up any queries you may have.
