It's a really fun and effective way to pause the busy chatter in your mind, and bring you into a more loving connection with yourself and others, centering your attention on your heart space. It can help you experience the many benefits of meditation without having to sit still or be quiet! Mantra literally means 'mind tool / free the mind' Kirtan is a highly effective way to reduce stored stress as it activates your vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system through the vibrations in your throat, and long outbreaths, whilst singing. It helps to develop a strong sense of loving community that arises as we come together in the intention of love and connection with our breath, with the music, the mantras, and our voices - it's magic! The practice creates hormonal and neurological changes that bring about feel-good experiences that both calm and uplift body and mind simultaneously. Kirtan offers a safe container for healthy emotional release. The positive sound vibrations open up space around the throat and heart chakras that allow for greater self expression, freedom and release. This form of sound healing yoga and meditation is accessible for everyone, and requires no musical ability or previous experience to enjoy all the benefits. **Please note that online booking price closes 5pm the day before the event.
