Sam Childers
Once a violent outlaw biker and drug dealer, Sam’s life was radically transformed over 32 years ago when he surrendered to Jesus Christ. Since then, he has devoted his life to rescuing children from rebel militias and war zones in South Sudan and along the DRC–Uganda border through his organisation, Angels of East Africa (AOEA).
Today, AOEA provides 24/7 care, education, and hope to more than 350 children, many of whom are now doctors, teachers, and community leaders. 
Sam’s incredible story of redemption inspired the Hollywood film Machine Gun Preacher (starring Gerard Butler), but what defines him most is his unshakable message of hope, salvation, and transformation through Jesus Christ:
“If Jesus could turn around a no-good, drug-dealing thug like me… imagine what He can do for you.”
