Although Albinism has its limitations, such as being ‘severely sight-impaired’, I have gotten to experience so many amazing things and meet so many incredible people through having Albinism, and I wanted to host my own event raising awareness for my condition and combining it with what I do best, playing music!I'm very excited to announce that, due to the major success of last year's event, ALBOMINATION FEST is back this year on INTERNATIONAL ALBINISM AWARENESS DAY, Saturday 13th June in The Wee Bar, Queen's Student Union, Belfast! This year's event is bigger and better, with 4 extreme bands from all across the country!ESKRIMA: Dublin-based Grind/PowerviolenceSHORTEST STRAW: Bludgeoning Riffs from BelfastCEASE: Hardcore Titans from DublinMICROTONAL: Irish Death ThrashI have plenty of exciting things planned for this year's Albomination Fest, all will be announced in due time!Tickets are £8 on Eventbrite, and £10 on the door. This gig is STRICTLY 18+ and ID's will be checked upon entry.All proceeds will be donated to the RNIB NI, a charity I have worked very closely alongside since I was 2 years old.I’ve also set up a JustGiving page for anyone that wants to donate, with all proceeds also going to the RNIB NI.
