- **Event Description**: One-day symposium on advancing GTRSB inclusion in higher education through research, policy, practice and community partnership.About this EventQueen’s University Belfast is hosting a one-day symposium focused on addressing persistent inequalities in access to higher education for Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showmen and Boater (GTRSB) communities.Bringing together academics, practitioners, policymakers, community partners, and students, the event will explore research-informed and community-centred approaches to widening participation and fostering belonging in higher education, with particular attention to the Northern Ireland context.The symposium features a keynote address, an expert panel on research, policy and practice, and interactive sessions highlighting lived experience, community-driven initiatives, and cross-sector collaboration.
