Jones' voice is characterized by writer C. Michael Bailey as having few peers, and her writing as beautifully grown up and real. Paris Move magazine Thierry De Clemensat describes Jones as, "...one of the most beautiful voices in the United States and part of that lineage of vocalists in jazz who dazzle with their sheer talent, elevating everything they touch." 

The Seattle-based vocalist and entertainer's current album, ‘Eugenie,’ charted on Jazz Week's Top 50 for 25 weeks, peaking at #4. She is a two-time vocalist of the year winner, the first vocalist to be awarded Earshot Jazz Album of the Year, and an inductee of the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame.

Her performances include Minton's Playhouse /NY, Tarreytown, NY's Jazz Forum, and Scat Jazz Lounge in Dallas/Ft. Worth, and the Atlanta, San Jose, and Portland Jazz Festivals. 

Jones will be joined on the Evening of Jazz stage by some of DC's finest musicians:  Chris Grasso on piano, Percy White on bass, and Paul Jung on drums.
