About the band

A 3-piece Lebanese electronic disco funk band from Batroun, Lebanon. The band formed in 2017 after the trio (Adel, Marc, and Matt) met through the local music scene and began jamming and performing together. Realizing their shared love for disco and funk, they fused their highly diverse musical influences into one experimental yet emotion-driven powerhouse sound, where fast heavy beats and punchy bass lines meet groovy sweeping guitars and harmonized vocals. And of course, it’s not complete without the occasional drop or twist, especially when one least expects it.

They found the name “Binky” through a song by one of their favorite artists, and just went with it. When a band’s name could pass for a rabbit’s happy dance or a pacifier, the vibe is pretty self-explanatory. It’s all about making good music and having a good time.

Now recognized among Lebanon's few fully independent and self-produced professional artists, Binky have performed over 250 shows across the country and have been performing together for over 10 years.

Their debut single Body Talkin’ (2022) and their first EP Loverhood (2023) are available on all major music platforms.
