SIDESPLITS & PANCAKES
This masterclass is aimed at people who have a basic level of flexibility and want to achieve the pancake and middle splits. We'll be looking at principles and techniques for increasing the range of motion and control of the lower body. Using the techniques of loaded stretching, end range strength in both the shortened and lengthened ranges, as well as the integration to full range movements we’ll be covering the progressions and regressions to Side splits and pancake. The specific progressions and regressions will be
chosen on the day to suit the participants of the class.

FRONTSPLITS & BRIDGES
As an exercise, the bridge is more a display of flexibility rather than a useful stretching exercise. However, the bridge position is vital for many different movement practices including acrobatics, advanced level handbalancing and lots more.
In this masterclass, Emmet will be taking you through the different flexibility components that are needed to achieve a nice, comfortable bridge position, including overhead flexibility, hip flexors and strengthening for stability. looking at principles and techniques for
increasing the range of motion and control of the upper extremities, again using the techniques of task orientated flexibility, end range strength in both the shortened and lengthened ranges, as well as the integration to full range movements. We’ll be covering
shoulder flexion and extension, internal and external rotation of the shoulders, T-spine mobility and hip extension and strengthening, integrating the above into the bridge / wheel pose. We will also be covering the frontsplit as a skill and flexibility exercise.
You will get an overview of many regressions and progressions for the fastest and safest way to achieve your bridge, as well as frontsplits.

OVERHEAD MOBILITY & SQUATS
This workshop is aimed at all those who wish to learn how to improve both their overhead mobility as well as their squat. For overhead mobility, we will be looking at principles and techniques for increasing the range of motion and control of the upper extremities, again
using the techniques of task orientated flexibility, end range strength in both the shortened and lengthened ranges, as well as the integration to full range movements. We’ll be covering shoulder flexion and extension and internal and external rotation of the shoulders.
We will also be looking at enabling you to achieve a nice, comfortable and deep squat by using those same methods, but applied to strengthening the hip flexors and glutes respectively in their shortened positions as well as covering calf and ankle flexibility.
By the end of this workshop, you will have a very clear roadmap on how to achieve a full, comfortable overhead squat position, both with weights and without.
