On this day trip,we will start with the visit to Jeita Grotto, which was nominated as one of the 7 Wonders of the World.you will enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to the upper cave,after exploring, we will take a train ride down to the lower cave where you will take a boat ride under the river cavern.
Then we will visit Byblos, one of the oldest still inhabited cities in the world 8000 years B.C .Walk through the old souq,visit the Byblos Castle,Fossils Museum,Byblos old port and St Jean Marc Church
We will then head to Afqa waterfall It has an average elevation of 1,200 meters above sea level and a total land area of 934 hectares. Its inhabitants are predominantly Shia Muslims.
Known in ancient times as Apheca or Afeka, the word can be interpreted as "source", is located in the mountains of Lebanon, about 20 kilometres from the ancient city of Byblos, which still stands just east of the town of Qartaba. It is the site of one of the finest waterfalls in the mountains of the Middle East, which feeds into the Adonis River (known today as Abraham River or Nahr Ibrahim in Arabic), and forms Lake Yammoune, with which it is also associated by legend.
You will end you day at Baalbek , one of most famous cities in Lebanon, known for its age-old history, fascinating traditions, sunny weather, and the great heritage it left behind. It also it home to one of the most noble and well-preserved triad of Roman temples ever built, dedicated to and named after Jupiter, Bacchus, and Venus.
