We would like to thank Hadchit Municipality, UNESCO, and all those who contributed to restoring and preparing this remarkable trail, reconnecting us with its heritage and natural beauty. We used to hike this trail in the past, and after a long time, we are excited to rediscover it again following its restoration. Hike Program: • We will start together from Hadchit village. • Walk along the restored historic trail, passing by monuments and monasteries, specially Deir El Salib one of the oldest and most important monasteries in the valley, and Saint Antoine de Padoue and many others. • Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic natural spot • Continue towards Mar Licha Two Levels: • Level (Moderate): Follow the main trail and return after Mar Licha • Level (Hard): Continue the hike from Mar Licha up to Bcharre, with a more challenging ascent Come experience a unique blend of nature, history, and spirituality in one of Lebanon’s most iconic valleys. WHERE: Annoubine / Hachit In the region of Bcharreh 1350 m above sea level. 80 Km from Beirut WHEN: Saturday, October 31 MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp. Programme de la randonnée : • Départ ensemble depuis le village de Hadchit • Marche sur le sentier restauré, en passant par plusieurs monuments et monastères, notamment Deir El Salib, l’un des plus anciens et importants monastères de la vallée, ainsi que Saint Antoine de Padoue et bien d’autres • Pause déjeuner pique-nique dans un cadre naturel magnifique • Continuation vers Mar Licha Deux niveaux : • Niveau (Modéré) : Parcours du sentier principal avec retour après Mar Licha • Niveau (Difficile) : Poursuite de la randonnée de Mar Licha jusqu’à Bcharre, avec une montée plus exigeante Venez vivre une expérience unique mêlant nature, histoire et spiritualité dans l’une des vallées les plus emblématiques du Liban.
