Good Laboratory Practices
MEFOSA is pleased to invite you to a workshop titled "Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's)" which will be held on Wednesday July 18, 2018.
The training will tackle Good laboratory practice (GLP) which refers to a quality system of management controls for research laboratories and organizations to ensure the uniformity, consistency, quality, and integrity of testing. Safety and quality need to be validated through correct practices and testing. This training will handle the different aspects of applying GLP's including Standard operating procedures and the importance of calibration/maintenance.
The workshop will be presented by Dr. Bachir Abi Salloum, who has a PhD degree from the University of Hohenheim in Agricultural Sciences with a concentration on neuro-endocrinology. He followed a postdoctoral studies program at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor on the influence of bisphenol-A and native steroids on fetal Health. He currently is a part time professor in different universities, works as a consultant in environmental health with many Lebanese non-governmental organization and has extensive experience in laboratory practices.
