200 HR. Yoga Teacher Training Program (TTC)


For the 6th year Ananda Center is more than delighted to announce to you the Unique 200 hrs Yoga Teacher training course.

Are you ready for a transformative, life changing Yoga Experience?
Do you want to improve your yoga practice and take it to the highest level and to teach yoga all over the world?

The program includes:

Teaching methodology.
Art of alignment and corrections.
Art of sequencing.
Mediation techniques.
Techniques of bandhas and mudras.
Kriya Yoga.
Yogic Breathing.
Yoga anatomy and physiology.
Injury prevention.
Subtle anatomy [chakras].
Therapeutic yoga.
Prenatal and kids’ yoga.
Yoga Philosophy.
Introduction to Ayurveda.

When you successfully complete this course, you will receive an internationally recognised certification (Yoga Alliace - USA 200hrs), which will allow you to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and start teaching yoga all over the world in any country you visit.

The training will be divided in two parts:
1. Two days over the weekends for 10 weeks, Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00 to 19:00 (Starting March 16th)
2. 9 days of residential full accommodation training in a pristine peaceful place in the midst of pine trees in Mount Lebanon. (June 29 till July 7)

Teachers:
Dr. Hisham Nasr
(Yoga asanas, yoga philosophy, kriya and meditation)
Dr. Hisham started practicing yoga and meditation in a young age (in 1995). In 1998 he started at school a yoga circle. That was his very first step in sharing yoga.
The summer of that same year he underwent a 2 months retreat of seclusion, silence and meditation that resulted in life changing experiences. Dr. Hisham is a medical doctor (general medicine). In 2008 he scored 2nd between more than 150 doctors in the Lebanese colloquium.
He is the founder of Ananda Yoga Center and “That Association” (جمعية ذات) an NGO that works on spreading inner wellbeing through yoga, meditation, poetry, arts, farming and ecotours.
Hisham is an experienced teacher and is conducting yearly Teacher Training Courses in collaboration with Yoga Vana India. In his approach Dr. Hisham integrates the experience of more than 20 years of spiritual search (the knowledge rooted in oriental and occidental spiritual traditions, Sufism and jnana), yoga practice and medical knowledge.

Chadi Hatem
(Anatomy, physiology, therapy and injury prevention)
Chadi holds a BS in Physical Therapy, Specialized in sports injuries at Descartes University - Paris in 1999. Chadi Hatem, Instructor of Anatomy and post rehabilitation at LAU, Professor of Physical Education, gave Aerobic and Stretching courses at USJ at the Physiotherapy department, from 2003 till 2013
Graduated with a diploma of "Nutrition & Fitness" from Harcourt Learning Direct USA in 2003; holding licenses in "Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy - Lower back spine" & "Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy - from McKenzie Institute OPTL in 2007. Chadi Hatem, Graduated Osteopathy Masters from the Lebanese University in 2013. He believes that the deepening of knowledge and experience is primarily through studies, research and participation in conferences, seminars and conventions.
Chadi Hatem, Owner of his own clinic “Chadi Hatem PT Clinic”, a Physiotherapy & Personal Training Clinic in Badaro-Beirut Lebanon. He is a Partner & Post Rehabilitation Specialist, at “Active Health”, a Multidisciplinary Pain Management Polyclinic in Ashrafiyeh-Beirut Lebanon.
