Come and join us as we walk across Morecambe Bay — a true bucket-list experience and one of the most iconic guided walks in the UK.

We’re lucky to have secured 20 places on the Arnside to Grange crossing, guided by Michael, the King’s Guide, alongside Jo and their experienced team of volunteers. No one walks alone — we cross together as a group, under expert supervision throughout.

This is a fully guided walk across shifting sands, channels and tidal terrain. You will get wet — how much depends on the day — but that’s all part of the adventure.

Who this walk is suitable for

This walk is only for those able to walk unaided and is typically 7–11 miles, depending on conditions.

• This is a walk, not a race.  Everyone walks together.  
• Individuals, couples and families are welcome
• Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
• All walkers must attend the mandatory safety briefing or they will not be allowed to take part

Important safety rules

For everyone’s safety, the following are not permitted:
❌ Alcohol
❌ Prams or pushchairs
❌ Bicycles, scooters, or wheeled items
❌ Wheelchairs

? Dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per walker), but:
• Dogs must be under control at all times
• If a dog runs off into the bay, it will not be rescued
• Walkers must not attempt to follow a dog due to the dangers on the bay
• A £5 donation per dog is payable directly to the Morecambe Bay Guides on the day

Booking & fundraising
• £20 per walker 
• The official walk fee is £15 - £5 from each ticket supports The Rawthey Project
• The walk is non-refundable and non-transferable, as it is person-specific and require your consent and emergency/medical information
• Places are limited and there are only a small number of bay crossings each year

Additional fundraising by sponsorship would be amazing but is not compulsory.  Beth will set up a crowdfunding page for us, or we can provide a printable sponsorship form.
