Join us for a fun-filled day of walking along the beautiful Morecambe Bay! Lace up your shoes, put on your favourite sun hat, and get ready to make a difference with Kidneys for Life. Our annual walk is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fresh sea air while supporting a great cause.
Whether you're an experienced walker or just enjoy a leisurely stroll, this event is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Expect breath taking scenery and sand between your toes as we navigate the bay's unique landscape. We have once again been fortunate enough to book places on the famous route from Arnside Promenade to Grange Promenade takes around four hours to complete and we will be led by Queen's Guide to the Sands Michael Wilson. Due to the unique terrain of the Bay, we cannot guarantee the exact distance, however, on previous walks we have clocked the total at around the 8 mile mark.
The final route will be set as soon as the tide departs the shore on the day of the challenge and Michael will guide you across the Bay following a safe route.
By participating in the Kidneys for Life Morecambe Bay Walk, you'll be helping us raise awareness and funds vital research and patient support. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by kidney disease.
