Music doesn’t get purer or more authentic than in the hands of ISE, the 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Belgium with a gift for turning personal stories into heartfelt indie rock songs. Over the past few years, she has built a strong and impressive live reputation across Europe, captivating audiences with her powerful presence and performances, even when it was just her and a guitar or piano.
With her unique, raw voice and stripped-down 90s-inspired guitar sound, ISE has stunned crowds at major Belgian festivals including Rock Werchter (where she became the youngest female artist ever to perform) and Pukkelpop, as well as international festivals such as Sziget (HU), Best Kept Secret (NL), Traumzeit (DE), Belgian Beer Weekend, and Expo 2025 Osaka (Japan). This live success led to sold-out club shows in Belgium (twice at AB Club in one day!) and the Netherlands, as well as invitations to support established international artists such as Hozier (Forest National, Brussels), Fantastic Negrito (London, Paris), and Gavin DeGraw (AFAS, Amsterdam).
Charlie and the Folks is een band uit de Kempen met Herentals als uitvalsbasis. De band bestaat uit Jan (bas & keys), Vinnie (drums) en Charlie (gitaar & zang). We zijn al meer dan 15 jaar vrienden en vonden onze eigen sound ooit in de kelder van de grootmoeder van onze drummer.
Onze muziek situeert zich in het genre Indie Rock / Alternative Rock. Elk van ons heeft een verschillende muzikale achtergrond en was jarenlang apart met muziek bezig. Pas een aantal jaar geleden ontdekten we hoe fijn het is om samen te spelen, en dat groeide uit tot een hechte band en een eigen creatieve uitlaatklep.
