Through guided outdoor activities, we provide a space for participants to heal, build resilience and reconnect with nature in a safe and supportive environment.For many Black and Brown individuals, particularly those in urban settings, access to nature has been historically restricted due to systemic barriers and social inequalities. Our mission is to change this by removing barriers and increasing representation in outdoor spaces.As part of this year’s YHA Festival of Walking, we’re heading to the stunning East Devon coast for a scenic walk in Seaton. Nestled along the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Seaton offers dramatic cliffs, sweeping pebble beaches, and breathtaking sea views. Snacks will be provided at the start. Parking: Limited parking at the hostel. Street parking available in surrounding areas. If parking outside of the hostel, please note it is an uphill walk to the meeting point.Please be respectful of time. We are unable to wait for any late comersDifficulty: Moderate - Challenging - Please note this walk has a longer distance which may be challenging for some, and includes sections close to cliff edges.Duration: Approximately 4-5 hoursDistance: Approximately 10kmAge: (18+)You must have an adequate level of fitness to participate in this walk.Kit: Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the walk and weather. Comfortable, good grip walking boots/walking trainers and waterproofs are mandatory. For health and safety reasons, you may be unable to participate if you are wearing unsuitable clothing or foot wear.
