Every full moon tells a story of tides, time and seasonal changes. Join us for an evening where science and wonder meet beneath the glow of the moon. The full moon of March also coincides with a lunar eclipse! Join an interpretive naturalist for a night hike and learn about what happens during a lunar eclipse. After, we will enjoy some moon pies by the fire. Note: The lunar eclipse will not occur during the program.

This program is part of our full moon program series. Stayed tuned for more full moon programs throughout 2026. 

Fee: Free!
Age: All ages. Participants younger than 18 years must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Outdoor activities may take place on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. The hike will be about 1 mile on crushed limestone. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
