She has met bad people and incites revenge by doing things out of spite like releasing her debut album (3 years in the maing btw) online for free - because of labels, the #industry and just the drama. Her debut album 'IS VV OK' is self-released and makes its debut on streaming platforms on August 14 2026. The album of songs contains the rage of an angry eldest daughter who has pretty good taste in music, and features pretty damn talented collaborators to help bring all of her musings to life. She has a few million streams on Spotify, sometimes her music gets randomly played at MRT stations without her knowledge, and to this end - is still a pretty legitimate artist.CLEO CHENG By day, Cleo helms an award-winning team of journalists working for a media organization headquartered in New York City. She started her career as a crime beat reporter, then cut her teeth covering the rise and fall of major MAGA figures. She now champions internationally-awarded feature reporting and enterprise work at her newsroom’s Singapore bureau.In her creative life, Cleo is a confessional poet and the author of “american/dream,” (2023) poems from which were placed in the 2023 Golden Point Award. She is also the author of the Straits Times bestselling “mirror monster dagger doom” (2025), a silkpunk short story collection, and “bite” (2024), a collection of microfiction.“The Comprehensive Corporate Guide to Successful Situationships” (2026) is the fourth book written under her pseudonym.Cleo is also the editor of three anthologies of Asian art and creative writing: “Other Worlds” (2022), “Good Girls Bad Ends” (2023) and “What We Burn For” (2025).
