About the Programme/ Event

Often, the only thing worse than having a difficult discussion is not having one at all. To help you understand and prepare for difficult discussions, this workshop focuses on understanding and learning why and when difficult discussions are needed, and provides you with tools to manage your own difficult discussions.

We cover topics such as understanding when difficult discussions are needed and what they are, getting the sequence of the discussion right, managing the place and space, how to actively listen and how to ask the right questions. This workshop will also introduce you to a conversational model that you can apply to all of your difficult discussions, and learn what to do when things go wrong.
